So, guess what? I’m taking the #craftingrevival on a little time-travel adventure! While digging into my crafty past, I stumbled across a total gem—a blog I started way back in 2009 for my business, INSPIRED AT HOME.
I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I had completely forgotten about that blog when I moved everything over to Cool2Craft in 2011. Oops!

Big shoutout to WordPress for being the real MVP and saving all this creative history on my original free blog site. It was like opening a sparkly treasure chest of memories! It reminded me of all the amazing things my crafty gal pals and I pulled off back then, like:
- FaveCrafts Radio Show (yep, we were podcasting before podcasts were even a thing!)
- Inspired at Home Radio Show (so much fun!)
- Inspired at Home LIVE Web TV (we were broadcasting weekly through a super cool beta program called Linqto—way before Zoom or YouTube Live were in the picture)
- Weekly LIVE Creative Pajama Parties (because who doesn’t love crafting in PJs?!)
As I was flipping through those blog archives, it hit me—I adore the classic blogging! Sure, websites have all their fancy bells and whistles, but there’s something so cozy and perfect about an old-school blog for sharing stories and crafty adventures.
So, get ready for more updates, fun stories, and all the crafting goodness you can handle. Stay tuned, my creative friends – there’ so much more to come!
P.S. What’s a retro crafty thing you love?
