The h+h americas 2025 event has wrapped up and here are just a few of my observations:

• Quilt, fabric and yarn store owners are the nicest people!
• This equates to dedicated customers.
• These store owners are SMART and savvy!
• No wonder they are so nice, their lives are filled with the most amazing colors and textures.
• The craftsmanship is over the top.
• It was SO refreshing to hear the word “craft” SO many times.

• Amazingly reminiscent of the “old” days of the Craft & Hobby Association Shows. The energy was vibrant and buzzing!
• Top-notch vendors!
• It’s time for me to pull out my sewing maching and get stitching.
• It’s time for me to find my crochet hooks and make stuff!
• There are SO many more gadgets and tools available from when I learned to sew and crochet 50+ years ago!
• I didn’t know so many different sewing machines existed.
• I didn’t know that yarn was available in a bazillion stunning colors!
• h+h americas knows how to throw and event! Over 550 exhibitors, 5,000 attendees, 299+ educational sessions, special events and network meet-ups.
• h+h americas announced that they have been recognized as one of the 50 fastest-growing shows in America. I can clearly see why!
• h+h americas announced they are expanding their event family in 2026 with the Fiber+Fabric Craft Festival, a new consumer-focused event. SO smart to get back directly in front of the consumer. I will definitely be there!
